How long do I need to stay?
Usually 7 to 10 days: 1–2 days of tests, surgery with 1 night in hospital, and several days of recovery before flying. We confirm it for your procedure.
Will my U.S. or Canadian insurance cover it?
Most plans don't cover scheduled surgery abroad, but some reimburse part of it. We provide an invoice and medical summary so you can file a claim.
Is it safe to fly after surgery?
Yes, with medical clearance. We give you instructions to prevent blood clots: walking, hydration, compression stockings and, if needed, medication.
Can someone come with me?
We recommend it. Having someone with you at the hospital and hotel makes recovery easier.
What if I have a concern after I get home?
You have virtual follow-up and a direct line to the office. We give you a surgical summary for any doctor who sees you at home.
